The greatest power plant of our solar system
Used correctly, the sun can satisfy our hunger for energy for many millennia. Free from harmful CO2 emissions.
We at Luxor are fascinated by the sun’s magic. Even a few rays of the sun are enough to make us humans happy. But the sun also gives us energy in another way – and in a nearly inexhaustible manner. In order to convert its light into electricity, we have been developing branded solar modules in the best German engineering quality since 2004. What is near and dear to us, and to the founder of the company – Volker Leh, is durability, reliability and strict standards. These also apply for our licensed partner productions in China, which sustainably produce Luxor modules. And with great success. The Eco Line 60 and the Eco Line 72 are used with great reliability everywhere in the West-European solar markets. On private houses, commercial buildings, barns, stables and in open-field facilities. With the experience of an installed power of over 200 MWp and an own representation in Shanghai, we are working on the energy concepts of tomorrow. For one thing is certain: The sun will shine for the next 5 billion years.
We want to participate in shaping the future
Photovoltaics is a young and exciting sector. It can produce electricity where it is needed. Which means, close to the customer.
The sun shines everyday, at no cost to us. Year by year, about 10,000 times as much solar energy reaches the earth as is currently consumed. He who can use this energy from the sun, solves our energy problems in a clean and intelligent way. This is good for our environment in several ways. The finite resources of the earth are no longer exploited. Photovoltaics produces energy without negative effects on the environment. And it makes this energy available in a decentralised way. Namely there, where it is needed. This means: freedom of choice, short transport routes, and an independence from infrastructures, such as pipelines. It is these convincing advantages that make us “sunshine people” from Luxor to sun worshippers in a certain way. They motivate us day by day to develop even better solutions for even more solar energy.
