Luxor Increases Wattage

Luxor Solar increases the wattage of the product lines Eco Line 60 and 72. Both the mono- and polycrystalline modules with 60 cells and the monocrystalline module with 72 cells are available as of now with the higher wattage.
All Luxor modules furthermore are delivered exclusively with positive tolerances of 1.5 to 6.5Wp.

The Eco Line 60/245 - 260 W (mono) and the multicrystalline Eco Line 60/230 - 240 W are the large-size-all-rounder among the Luxor modules. The high wattage makes the modules the ideal solutions for industrial scale equipments. From the open-field facilities, through the tracking system, to the roof-mounted installation.

Especially the remarkably high wattage and the relatively low voltages of the 230 - 240W module makes it possible to install more modules in series, so that the inverter can be designed more economically. The 245 - 260W (mono) ensure the best energy output because of the high-quality solar cells with an efficiency up to 18.7% at the best possible low light behaviour.

The monocrystalline Eco Line 72/185 - 200 W is frequently used for smaller systems because a single person can handle it quite well. With its dimension in a 1:2 ratio, it can always be optimally arranged in every roof covering and open-field installation. The 72-cell module with a monocrystalline cell of 5" is the proven classic device among the solar modules and with a rated power up to 200Wp as of now even more powerful.

Luxor Increases EU Production

Due to the continuously strong demand Luxor Solar increases the production volume of the European production. The manufacturer of solar modules wants to avoid bottlenecks and therefore boosts the production. The product lines Eco Line 60/240-250 W and Eco Line 60/225-235 W coming from the European manufacture especially are demanded by the Italian market. With the EU certificated products PV system operators in the Italian market receive a 10% higher feed-in tariff. "For meeting the requirements of our customers also in the forthcoming year we have to expand our production capacity," says Volker Leh, CEO from Luxor Solar.

"The continuous expansion of our international sales activities makes an impact," explains Marco Solombrino, International Sales Manager. "Creating long-term partnerships with our clients and so building trust in the Luxor quality step by step is paying off."

By the end of the year the brand manufacturer of solar modules will achieve the objective of a total of 210 MWp of installed capacity. With the expanded production capacity the company will continue to increase its market share.

UL Certificate for Luxor

The Luxor Solar GmbH, manufacturer of branded solar modules got the certification of the Underwriters Laboratories (UL). With the products Eco Line 60/225-235 W (poly), Eco Line 60/240-250 W (mono) and Eco Line 72/180-190 W (mono) Luxor is now going to enter the US market.

In the course of the certification the independent audit authority carried out extensive tests concerning material, performance and safety. The PV modules comply with the safety requirements of the UL and therefore also with the essential quality factor for USA.

Solar Park Domsuehl

In Domsuehl, a small city in Mecklenburg-Pomerania, a new solar park is connected to the grid. The one megawatt plant is built of about 4500 solar modules of the product line Eco Line 60 from the Luxor Solar GmbH. On 90 tables, spread over an area of 3 hectares, the brand solar modules turn the energy of the sun in valuable emission-free current. This means in purely mathematical terms, thanks to their high plus tolerances they produce solar energy for more than 200 four-person households per year.

Investor of this major project is the Solarfaktor GmbH located in Waren/Müritz. Krannich Solar GmbH is responsible for the planning and built of the plant.

Thanks to the professional cooperation of all parties the whole project just took a few months from the groundbreaking at the beginning of August to the completion in autumn this year.

 „The sunshine people are happy about another successful reference project“,  says Volker Leh, CEO of the Luxor Solar GmbH. „This means once more a small step to the decentralization of our national grid and to the switch to renewable energy.“

New sunshine people

Luxor Solar wants to continue to grow. For expanding on the national as well as on the international market we have looked for further reinforcement for our team. From now on Nino Sijeric will take over the business development. He got to know the sunshine people as a trainee student and therefore can start directly in his new function.

Also the marketing team can welcome a new member. Franziska Flury starts as a trainee student and will support the team with a lot of creativity in the web and media design.

The sunshine people wish the new colleagues a great start and are looking forward to working with them.

EU Certificate for Luxor Solar Modules

Stuttgart, 05/09/11 | The Luxor Solar GmbH, producer of brand solar modules receives the „Certificate of Conformity“ from TÜV Nord. With the Luxor products Eco Line 60/225-235 W (Poly) and Eco Line 60/240-250 W (Mono) PV system operators in the Italian market now receive a 10% higher feed-in tarif.

Certificate for UK market

The Luxor solar panels of all performance classes receive the MCS certificate for the UK market. Thus, the prerequisite is met, to get the legal tariff. Plant operators benefit immediately from not only of Luxor high performance solar modules, but also can look forward to financial returns from the state.

In addition Luxor solar panels are also approved on the Australian market. Both mono-and polycrystalline series of all classes are accredited with it.

"The Certification for the British and the approval for the Australian market is for us an important step for a successful entry of these two promising markets. Luxor Solar with blessings

Luxor Solar realized with the company Solaris srl, STELVIO sas from Milan / Italy and blessings of God, a solar power plant on the roof of Milan's Church, PARROCCHIA SS.TRINITÁ, CHIESA PARROCCHIALE, built in 1968th.

Powerful 360 solar modules (230Wp) of the brand Luxor produce 90,000 kWh of clean electricity per year - through the gift of heaven - the sun. This fed into the grid and the financial returns from the government-backed compensation will be used to support the church community in the realization of social projects. In addition, the power plant will save the environment 54 tonnes of CO2 emissions annually. This corresponds to a mileage of 180,000 km and CO2 emissions of a Porsche.
